Tongariro Crossing
Hil, Chris, Simon and myself went to visit Kris in New Zealand over Easter week-end.
We did the Tongariro Crossing .... 15 kms, 800m going up, 1100m going down, 8 hours of hiking on rocks, sand, through the forest, blasting winds and sulfuric fumes ... a really great hike which we can still feel in our legs few days after !
Our daily menu consisted in scramble eggs and Toblerone .. it was Easter after all :)
